To Inframoura, Empresa de Infraestruturas de Vilamoura E.M., with capital stock shared between the Municipality of Loulé and Vilamoura Lusotur (owned by the American company Lone Star) is assigned the management of the public infrastructures of Vilamoura and of the contiguous Vila Sol Urbanization, with the mission of providing an excellent service that ensures high standards of living regarding:
  • Management of the water supply and distribution systems (domestic, industrial, commercial, irrigation), basic sanitation, collection of urban solid waste;
  • Maintenance of the road network, green spaces, rainwater drainage systems, public lighting network, urban cleaning;
  • Management of public parking lots and licenses, as well as occupation of public space.

Covering 1600 hectares, Vilamoura is one of the largest urbanizations in southern Portugal and at the forefront of high quality tourism, with a diverse range of excellent infrastructure, that cover a marina, residential areas with hundreds of villas, tennis club, diving club, an extensive beach, dozens of luxury hotels, casino and nightclubs, equestrian centers, a golf academy and 5 golf courses.

It includes the Roman ruins of Cerro da Vila, and in Vilamoura’s neighbourhood to the west there is a 271-hectare Bird Preservation Area supported by BirdLife International.

Giving support to these axes, and integrated in the process of modernization of the information systems of the company, Inframoura did choose to implement a solution for Document Management and Processes that would allow optimizing its operating model, reducing administrative complexity and increasing operational efficiency.

This solution allowed the dematerialization and automation of a wide range of processes, as well as the integration between the client management systems, document management, maintenance management and the company portal.
